A 2,000 years old city has been found under the earth from china’s northeastern province Liaoning. The human settlement which is believed to be at least two thousand years old was found in the city of Shenyang.
[junkie-alert style=”green”] Qingzhuangzi City, the ancient Chinese city is under excavation and till now 500 square meters have been excavated in which archeologists have found ash pits, houses, cellars and tombs. [/junkie-alert]
Many other things were found from the city which gives us a glimpse of the city. Pottery, ironware, stoneware, bronzeware and other things indicate that it was a major city of its era.
The Chinese archaeologists believe that the city is from the Bronze Age and continued to flourish until it’s end during han dynasty which was before 202 BC.
Other major ancient cities and castles were also unearthed in china in past many years, including the famous ‘Great Wall of China which is believed to be from 220 BC.
