Al Qaeda Netwrok in University of Karachi?

karachi universityKarachi: There are reports that an Al Qaeda affiliated cell has been operating in one of the biggest government universities of Pakistan the Karachi University. It has been ordered to the law enforcement agencies of Pakistan by the federal government of Pakistan to investigate about the presence of Al Qaeda cells in the University.

One of local news channels of Pakistan has reported that a letter from the Interior Ministry has been written to police and rangers. In the letter it has been ordered to investigate about the organization that is affiliated by the internationally band Al Qaeda group.

The news channel also stated that in the letter that was sent by interior Ministry to police and rangers the name of the organization that is affiliated with Al Qaeda is mentioned as “Ashab”. It was also said that the interior ministry has said to the law enforcing agencies that they can take help from the Vice Chancellor of the university.

The vice chancellor has been directed that he should hand over every such person of the university who is involved in distribution of doubtful material to the law enforcing agencies.
