Karachi: National Tennis star Aisam ul Haq Qureshi and his dutch team mate Jean-Julien Rojer have become the seventh doubles team to qualify for the ATP World Tour Finals that is scheduled to get commenced from November 5 and held at The O2 in London.
After beating Feliciano Lopez and Nenad Zimonjic in a crucial game by a tough margin of 6-4, 6-7(3), 17-15 Pakistani-Dutch pair secured their place for World Tour Finals. The nail biting encounter stretched to one hour and 56 minutes for a place in the Paribas Masters quarter-finals played yesterday. Qureshi and Rojer will make their team debut at the season-ending championships.
It is worthwhile to mention here that they have a 32-21 match record on the season, winning two ATP World Tour titles at the Estoril Open and Gerry Weber Open.
