LAHORE: A petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) to penalize the accused acquitted in Sialkot tragedy case and death sentence to the accused meted life imprisonment in a verdict by an ATC court of Gujranwala. The appeal has been submitted by the Punjab government through Prosecutor General in which it has been stated that a Special Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) sentenced six accused life term in jail; though, there were evidences regarding their involvement in the lynching incident.
Punjab government pleaded the court to take up the case and award death punishment to the accused given life sentence namely Muhammad Waris, Hassan Raza, Qaiser, Jamshad, Ateeb and Asghar, adding that court may suspend the acquittal order of ATC in which five accused namely Awais, Nadeem, Muhammad Akram, Shamas and Muhammad Asghar.
The prosecutor has stated that there were evidences including audio and video against them but ATC ignored those proofs.

please i request that people of pakistan should be given full information about this horrible case….and please i request cjp and lahore high court death snetence should be awarded to all the 18 culprits and police walas should serve atleast life time imprisonment.
