Fish is known because of its health benefit but a new research has revealed that fish oil can prevent prostate cancer significantly.
The new research was conducted by University of Iceland which observed 2,268 for a period of four long years so that the correct results should be deducted.
The research team observed that the risk of prostate cancer was reduced in people of old age after consumption of fish oil. There are certain fish which are rich in fish oil such as salmon, lake trout, albacore tuna, mackerel and some other fatty fish were rich in oil.
There is another great benefit of these fishes, they reduce the cardiovascular problems. They are rich in Omega-3 which removes cholesterol from blood reducing the chances of heart attacks.
Though the research was based on a reasonable numbers of case studies but it is believed that further research should be conducted to know how fish oil helps in reducing cancer risk.
