Renowned Pakistani doctors are so much excited after hearing the news regarding qualifying exam of Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), to be held in Pakistan. Although the news is circulating in the doctor’s society but many doctors are not fully sure that it would be held in Pakistan. While talking to a leading Pakistani English newspaper, Dr. Farooq Shah also showed his happiness on this news but he is not assure that it would be held in Pakistan. He said that it has been rumoring from the last few years and would believe when dates of Paces exams will be announced in Pakistan.
All the physicians and fresh graduates who want to become Member of the Royal College of Physicians, should have to sit in the Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills, PACE exam. Successful candidates of Pace exams given the membership of MRCP. These exams are conducted by the Royal College of Physicians in UK or any other assigned country.
Currently nominated advisor of the Royal College of Physicians, Dr Javed Akram said that the meeting on this issue has been scheduled on 23rd of November, which would be chaired by President Mamnoon Hussain. Country Head of British Council Peter Upton, the British High Commissioner and Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division will also attend this meeting for final decision on this issue.
