ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has said that the constitution of Pakistan has formed the principle of powers distribution and has assigned some specific powers to the administration, legislatures and court after which no institution is allowed to exceed the certain limits.
A full court meeting in the Supreme Court of Pakistan was held for new court year in which judges of Supreme Court of Pakistan, representatives of Pakistan Bar Council and Supreme Court Bar Council were present.
While addressing to the meeting, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali said that the constitution established the principle of distribution of powers and assigned some specific powers to the administration, legislatures and court.
He added the principle of distribution of powers is based on democracy which ensures balance among institutions. He said that no institution can be allowed to exceed certain limits. He added that he always considered the constitution and the law while using his powers.
Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali said that the court tries to give such a decision that corrects illegal actions. He said that the decision of 18th and 21st constitution amendment was made for public welfare.
