Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati has finally announced the schedule of annual Ubud Writers & Readers Festival. The festival will be held from 28th of October and last till 1st of November, 2015 in Ubud, Indonesia. This year, theme of the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival will be “17,000 Islands of Imagination”. More than 165 widely recognized and experienced authors from 25 different countries of the world will participate in the festival including Christina Lamb, Michael Chabon, Ayu Utami, Mpho Tutu, Teju Cole, Anuradha Roy and Raditya Dika.
All the honorable guests of Ubud Writers & Readers Festival will share their unique ideas and different global issues and challenges will be also discussed during this event. Various regions will be discussed by the guests of this event, specially Indonesian killings of 1965. Different entertaining programs will be also part of this events including Youth Program, Art Program, Book Launch, Children’s Program, Cultural Workshop, Free Yoga, Audio Drama Workshop, The Kitchen and Ubud Bike and Literary Tour.
