ISLAMABAD: The National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Sartaj Aziz has said that the meeting between the prime ministers of Pakistan and India will help abate tension and promote relations. However, the Kashmir Issue will be on top during talks with India.
While briefing concerning PM ‘s visit to Russia in Islamabad, Sartaj Aziz said that the premier Nawaz Sharif met his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi on India’s wish whereas the meeting was held in pleasure environment in which all the issue including Kashmir were discussed.
Sartaj Aziz said that both the countries discussed their reservations in friendly environment, adding that Pakistan will continue moral, diplomatic and political favor of Kashmiris. He added that Nawaz Sharif adheres to peaceful neighbor policy.
The advisor said that peace at LOC and Working Boundary is n the interest of both the countries, adding that the meeting between both, Nawaz and Modi, in UFA, the city of Russia, were not official talks.
