KARACHI: Rangers have decided to issue a detailed report concerning the raid at Nine Zero, the central office of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) within three days. According to sources, the rangers’ officials have objected on the statistics issued by MQM about the raid at Nine Zero. The rangers’ officials have told that a bid to create confusion was made by mutilating facts and the statistics through media.
On the other hand, MQM has said in a communiqué concerning the raid at Nine Zero that no statement was made in this regard recently. According to MQM, the complaints concerning the raid at Nine Zero were legal and based on facts. MQM also demanded in the communiqué that the judicial commission should investigate the facts concerning the raid.
It is pertinent to mention here that Altaf Hussain earlier leveled allegation that the party workers were tortured during custody. The Rabita Committee of MQM also demanded of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and the chief minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah to have the atrocities stopped in jail.
