Telenor has launched its newest service internet.org, in collaboration with Facebook that will be available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. The service will allow the users to access certain websites for free. This service is aimed at bringing more and more users towards the internet. The service will initially introduce 17 websites, but later on Telenor intends to add more. This service was launched at an event that was attended by high-ups of Telenor Pakistan, including Michael Foley, CEO, Telenor, Irfan Wahab, Deputy CEO, Telenor Pakistan and Aslam Hayat Khan, VP, Telenor Pakistan.

The Telenor users, whether post paid pr pre-paid, can go to the internet.org from their mobile phones to access these websites. They will be given a list of websites that be accessed for free. The user can also download internet.org app from their respective app store. No subscription or activation procedure or charges are required.
