ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that there is an unusual situation in Pakistan, if we take weak steps, the nation will not accept them. While addressing to a meeting of national parliamentary leaders in Islamabad, he has said that the unusual situation in Pakistan demands to take extraordinary steps.
The premier said that it was a pleasure that all the leaders had been united and were on the same page after the tragic incident of Peshawar, adding that no examples of such brutality could probably be found in the history as the children were massacred in Peshawar. He added that terrorism was a disease like cancer and unless we dealt with it, the nation would not forgive us.
Nawaz Sharif further said that terrorism was not an ailment but a big disease and we all had to deal with it together. He said that the nation kept their eyes on us, it was observing what we decided, there would be no benefit of crippled and lame decisions, and we had to take strong decisions.
The Prime Minister further said that we had to take these decisions against those who wanted to root Pakistan out. He thanked to all saying that they had ensured to cooperate in order to solve the matter and everybody had shown responsibility.
