Jamat ud Dawah’s charitable wing, Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) has set up relief camps in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan for the displaced people of North Waziristan. Cooked food as well as medical treatment is being given to the migrants. Within the past few days, FIF volunteers have distributed more than two thousand packets of food in relief camps and other areas.
In addition, free medical camps in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan have been set up today. Registration of the victims and migrants is being carried out to maintain discipline and proper circulation of aid. FIF chairman, Hafiz Abdur Rauf, is monitoring the progress and survey of the relief activities himself, and has ensured that the relief activities will continue until normalcy returns.
It’s not the first time when Falah-e-Insaniyat has come forward on ground to help Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Pakistan. In past Military Operations of Swat and Waziristan, FIF played vital role to entertain IDPs.
On other hand, other organizations are also collecting funds in different cities for IDPs. Due to Ramzan, it’s expecting that Pakistani Nation will help more in this regard.
