Islamabad: Advocates of former Army General and Dictator of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf have told a three member special court that they including those judges who are involved in the hearing of Pervez Musharraf have sever threats from extremists. They appealed that the court should be transferred to some safe place.
Advocates of General Pervez Musharraf and Judges who are involved in hearing of his case have server threats from extremists, according to them. They presented in the court a letter which was given to them by extremists in which sever death threats were given to them.
After the hearing of court Faisal Hussain Chaudhary the advocate of Musharraf has said to media that terrorists have killed Judges Rafaqat Aawan, they came with advanced weaponry and all kind of new technology. So did they directly come from Waziristan? No, they were residing in the Capital Islamabad.
In the recent attack in the capital Islamabad, 11 people were killed including Judge Rafaqat Awan. Rafaqat Awan rejected to approve the FIR that was submitted against former dictator and in the FIR Musharraf was accused of killing Deputy Speaker in Lal Masjid Military Operation in 2007.
However, the court has said that due to security concerns court trial of Musharraf cannot be stopped. On the other hand former army general has demanded to send him abroad for treatment and will appear on every hearing date in the court.
