Telenor has launched an app for its Postpaid and Prepaid customers by the name of My Telenor Mobile App which is available for android users on the Google Play Store. This is a positive move by Telenor considering the increased usage and popularity of smart phones in Pakistan and allows users to access their services in a smooth user friendly way.
The My Telenor App allows Telenor users to access information regarding their account such as Name, Service type, Package Plan, amount of Balance and expiry limit of their Balances. Users can also view the different services offered by Telenor and the app can be used to subscribe or unsubscribe to services as required. Users can also change their package plan and activate SMS packages, Internet bundles and Voice plans. All in all the app can be used to control your whole Telenor experience from your Smartphone.
Although the idea of the app is good, the execution seems to be far from perfect. Users have frequently complained about login and password errors along with incomplete information of services. Page loading also seems to be slow but Telenor has stated that they have fixed some of the issues in an update which can now be downloaded.
