Karachi: Amidst much debates about the release of Indian Movies in Pakistan, the release of another Indian movie, “Shadi Ke Side Effects” is also due on 28th February 2014. The movie stars Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar and is directed by Saket Chaudhary. The story depicts the lives of a married couple with respect to their perceptions about each other.
The release of Indian movies has sparked a debate dividing the public in their opinions. While some are eager to watch their favourite across the border movie stars on cinema screens, the others criticize these actions due to the vulgar content displayed in these movies. A strict censor policy should be applied on these movies.
The release of Indian movies such as “Highway”, “Gunday” and “Hansee To Phansee” were also received with criticism as a major public opinion was that these movies should not have been granted an NOC by the Pakistani government.
“Shadi Ke Side Effects” will be shown in the major cinemas of Karachi, such as, Atrium, Cinepax, Nueplex and other cinemas. The Pakistani’s on the social media are expressing their anger on the release of these Indian movies.
