Sindh: The law which states that if any person tries to do wall chalking on bridges, walls, poles etc without the permission of the owner will be arrested has been approved. This law was presented in the Sindh Assembly from where it has been approved. With a sentence of six month the accused will also have to pay a fine of Rs. 5000. Who ever try to break the law would be arrested and will also have to pay the price of cleaning the place along with other punishments.
Before passing the bill there was a debate between members of assembly. In this debate member from different parties has given their views on the law. Provincial Minister for Information and municipalities Mr. Sharjeel Memon has supported the bill and said that this bill will help to clean up the cities. He specially mentioned the name of Karachi, the city which is full of wall chalking everywhere.

By giving advice to other party members the provincial minister said that every party should remove their flags and banners. But can bring them in any political gathering and take away after it is over. While the Assembly member of Muslim League Functional Nusrat Sahar Abbasi said that Peoples Party should initiate the process of removing the flags of their own party. Another PML (f) member of assembly Mehtab Akbar Rashdi declared that the fine should be increased.
