Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia’s President Award was grabbed by one of the Pakistani candidate, Syed Faiq Najeeb for the year 2012-2013. The award winner is a Karachi citizen who earned highest CGP in his graduate program at the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF).
Faiq, the genius student completed his Masters degree in Islamic Finance (MIF). He has been titled ‘Best Student of the Year’. On 5th of October he was awarded with the prestigious award for scoring exceptional GPA 3.98 out of 4. Bank Negara Malaysia Governor Zeti Akhtar Aziz presented the award to the achiever.
Faiq, son of Syed Najeeb Akbar talking about his achievement expressed gratefulness to ALMIGHTY ALLAH, family and friends. He said that he aims to establishing and promote Islamic financial system globally to what he sees the most credible one.
Faiq holds BA Honors degree. He was credited to completing his masters in the reputable institute on the scholarship awarded by the Bank Negara, the Central Bank of Malaysia pertaining to his interest in Islamic finance.
Faiq also completed 24 month program within a span of 1.5 years. It is the latest educational record set in the history of the institute.
INCEIF imparts Islamic finance degree programs, being the only institution across the globe to promote the system.
