Pakistan has suddenly come under multidimensional attack. Local political artists are orchestrating anarchy like drama, India has started military interventions with support from international media and US has launched a new wave of drone attacks.
Avoiding looking through the media lens, I see following happenings:
1) Arab Spring has shown that Islamist movements or revolutions are popular in the region. Democracy has failed to deliver in Pakistan. It is in favor of West that its sponsored revolution starts in Pakistan before any indigenous revolution occurs. For the purpose birds of a feather have flocked together for 14 Jan March. This installation would benefit PPP Govt as they’d earn the much sought after title of Siyasi Shaheed. The newly installed regime would stay long enough to support US exit.
2) US wants that Pak Defence should ease out on borders. For this it is required that the forces are engaged internally thus leaving the borders porous. India is initiating its cold start so that the remaining force is engaged on eastern border. Ultimate objective is free Balochistan and Karachi. This strategy would grant much needed permanent exit and oil delivery route to US with 3 deep sea ports at hand.
3) Real competition is with time. Taliban in Afghanistan are gaining strength and US wants the plan to complete sooner. If Pakistan can hold fort for sometime longer, defeat is eminent. Since the war is being brought home, the real warriors would be public. It is direly needed that we come on one platform, same which has won our Ummah previous turmoil. Regroup on Faith, regroup on Quran!
