Karachi: three major cities of Sindh are facing tension from last 18 hours. This tension was started from Friday night when workers of a political party forcefully closed markets, AwamiWeb reported. Firing accidents were also started on Friday night in different areas of Karachi. CNG is also closed in province according to schedule. All Karachi Traders Alliance told that they are not opening shops and markets due to threats. Shops will be opened if law and order situation will be better. Many businessmen showed concern on this unrest. We want to open my shop but I can’t open it due to threats from a political party, a businessman argued.
Almost all areas of Karachi were remained unrest. Firing incidents were reported from more than 20 areas of Karachi. Police and law enforcement agencies are patrolling but no culprit has been arrested yet.
On other hand, protests observed in different towns of Karachi including Liaquatabad and Orangi. In Liaquatabad area, MQM workers gathered to Expresses solidarity with MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.
Same situations were reported in Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas. Markets of Latifabad and Heerabad were closed after aerial firing in Hyderabad. Only few areas of Mirpur Khas are open today, local correspondent reported.
