Karachi: The Ameer of Jamaat Ghuraba-e-Ahl-e-Hadith Maulana Abdur-Rehman Salfi has expressed his worry in the newly instated Modi government saying that that the formation of extremist Hindu cabinet in the newly elected Narendra Modi Government is a disturbing development for those who are working for the development of peaceful relations between India and Pakistan. The cabinet has been formed by people who are working on an agenda to spread ill will and enmity between the two states, which is a threat to the stability of Pakistan.
Maulana Salfi suggested that Pakistani government should closely monitor the foreign policies of India. Maulana Salfi expressed his concern during his speech at the special conference held at the Business road by the local leaders of the Jamaat. The conference was also attended by Hafiz Muhammad Salfi, Mufti Idress Salfi, Sheikh Muhammad Anus, Hashmatullah Siddique, Dr Amir Abdullah Muhammad, Imran Ahmed Salfi and others.
Maulana Salfi also added that those in favour of peace will not deny the need to establish friendly relations between India and Pakistan, but a one sided stance on this matter is not enough, he said that India has always opposed mediations on the matter of Kashmir and Pakistan is suffering huge losses because of the water issue. The people of Kashmir have been suffering at the hands of the Indian army and there has been a further increase in the violence on the Kashmiri people.
