Kabul: The largest NATO base in Helmand Province faced a lethal attack by the freedom fighters using guns and rockets or mortars shortly after midnight Saturday morning leaving two American service members dead while Prince Harry who is serving as a member of a British helicopter unit got a narrow escape, according to a statement by spokesman for the international forces in Afghan Capital.
According to the details, Prince Harry was dwelling in the near area where the attack was launched. The officials of ISAF have confirmed the attack and the death toll have also been verified but they are unclear whether the attack was lodged for Harry or the aim was something else.
However, Prince Harry remained safe in the attack though several jets have suffered loss and soldiers have got serious injuries.
