Lahore: Different religious groups have condemned the event being held in Islamabad concerning the rights of homosexuality stating it non-Islamic, immoral and unnatural. The groups have demanded the authorities to take serious measures in this regard.
Secretary Information Majlis Ahrar-ul-Islam Pakistan Mian Mohammad Owais while expressing concerns over the event on gay and lesbian rights, scheduled to be held on July 16 in a private educational institute of country’s capital warned the Foreign NGOs and organization named Munich Debate to remain in their limits.
He said that no law could be made against Quran and Sunnah according to the constitution of Pakistan.
It is reported by local English daily that it is believed that the schools chain is owned by a lady who is a senior office bearer of a rapidly emerging party in the country.
