LAHORE: Punjab government has announced that no fee will be charged from intermediate students for the rechecking of papers and said that students just put an application, their papers will be rechecked. The government of Punjab directed the all boards to clear the mistakes after rechecking the papers. On the other hand Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan in an interview with a private TV channel said that action will be taken against the people involved in the negligence and mistakes would be dealt according to law; meanwhile he has requested the students to not take law in their hands.
He also urged that the students should abide by the rules and regulations of the board and not to get themselves involved in criminal acts, adding that the government took notice on the very first day and if the students would burn the record it will create hurdles for investigation; meanwhile he said that it is a complex problem not simple one and the government is holding investigations into it.
He said that if any political party is involved in misguiding students then it is great injustice with the students, adding that the problem arose due the mistake of computer; meanwhile he said it is question why the students came on the roads and staged violent protests. The problem arose due to misunderstanding and it would be cleared after the completion of investigation. Meanwhile Rana Sanaullah said ensured that the arrested students would be released.
