Prominent politicians have demanded of US to respect Parliamentary resolutions of Pakistan on war against terror, drone attacks, national security and defence.
Politicians have informed United States about reservations of the nation about unexpected release of Raymond Davis and Abbotabad incident of May 02.
The senior politicians including Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Opposition Leader in NA Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan of PML-N, leader of ANP Asfand Yar Wali Khan, Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, MQM leader Farooq Sattar, Leader of National Party Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch met Hillary Clinton here on Friday.
These politicians were invited for meeting with US Secretary of State by US Embassy.
Sources have told that politicians giving reference of resolutions passed in joint sittings of Parliament stated that the decisions of parliament should be respected, adding that US should play its role to stop cross border attacks from Afghanistan in border areas.
It was also said that allied forces should respect the freedom and sovereignty of Afghan masses. According to sources Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan raised issues of Raymond Davis and Abbotabad incident. Nisar informed Hillary about the reservations on both incidents.
Meanwhile politicians informed her about concerns over US pressure regarding military operation North Waziristan Agency.
A politician claimed that Hillary said that US is not putting pressure on Pakistan for operation in North Waziristan Agency, adding that Pakistan has to take steps for enhancement of tax net and parliament has to play its vital role in this regard.
Politicians said that US has always given importance to relations with the governments of the country, adding that public to public relations are needed to strengthen.
Sources told that politicians stated that Pakistan is very sensitive on its security issue and public expressions should be kept in mind on the issues of national security, regional prosperity and defence relating matters.
