Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza has sought names from the parliamentary parties for the implementation of 13-point resolution passed in All Parties Conference (APC) held on 29th of September at Prime Minister House; meanwhile the speaker has sent letters to the political parties in this regard on Friday.
According to the sources the National Assembly Secretariat has become active for the constitution of parliamentary committee according to the APC resolution.
The NA Secretariat on behalf of Speaker National Assembly has sent letters to the Parliamentary Leaders of the parliamentary parties including Chief Whip of PPP Syed Khurshid Shah, Opposition Leader in NA and PML-N Leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, MQM parliamentary leader Dr Farooq Sattar, ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman, FATA parliamentary leader Munir Ahmed Khan Orakazi, PML-Q parliamentary leader Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat and PML-F parliamentary leader Pir Sadarudidn Shah Rashidi.
The said committee would chalk out the strategy to implement the resolution passed during the all parties’ conference convened by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani against the US threats.
