NEW YORK: China and Russia veto the resolution condemning Syria in United Nations Security Council, the resolution was moved by France and supported by Germany, UK and Portugal.
The resolution condemns the torture on protestors and suggested to impose sanctions on Syrian President Basherul Asad; meanwhile the draft resolution received nine votes in favor and four countries being impartial by not using the right of vote.
Russia and China after veto the resolution said that NATO forces carried military action in Libya, adding that the door for external aggression in the resolution has also been remained opened against Syria.
Meanwhile the Britain, French and European Union for avoiding veto from China and Russia made three times amendments in the draft resolution but all these efforts remained fruitless.
