A commendable step has been taken to facilitate Hajj pilgrims from various countries by Saudi Government.
The Saudi government has established an e-platform to facilitate the arrival of Muslim pilgrims from around 58 countries for this year’s Hajj.
The Saudi Mission shared the information with The News/Jung and said that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has been working with Europe, the United States and the Kingdom as part of the kingdom’s government’s initial efforts to facilitate the procedures for the upcoming Hajj season.
Government has announced the launch of the hajj.nusuk.sa platform for Australian, Europe and US Haj pilgrims.
The service enables pilgrims from these countries to apply, make reservations and make e-payments as well as select Hajj-related services such as housing, catering, flights, guidance and transportation packages, the ministry explained.
Countries covered by the platform include France, Germany, USA, UK, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Canada, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Australia, Bulgaria, Argentina, Greece, Georgia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Denmark, Venezuela, Ukraine, Norway, Trinidad and Tobago, Finland, Colombia, Ireland, Romania, Croatia, New Zealand, Serbia, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Panama, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Cuba, Guatemala, Uruguay and Nicaragua are included.
Last month, Saudi Arabia opened registration for Muslims living within the kingdom to apply for this year’s Hajj rituals.
Saudi officials have said there will be no restrictions on the number of pilgrims arriving from around the world for the upcoming Hajj season, reversing earlier restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic over the past two years.
