This week, the breaking news hit the air when Ovais Mangalwala and Shiffa Yousafzai announced their departure from the platform of Hum News. Both the anchors, have joined 92 News as their new platform.
On the social media, Mangalwala gave the news of his new beginning on 92 News with a new Morning Show “Subah Sawere Pakistan”. The two hours show will be aired from Monday to Friday starting at 9.
In the Morning Show, he will be accompanied by Shiffa Yousafzai as Co-host, who also broke the news on her social media platforms about leaving Hum News and joining 92 News as a new career opportunity.
Ovais started his career with Dawn News in 2007 as associate producer. He then joined Express News in 2011 till 2017. Mangalwala began working for Hum News in 2019 and was the host of the morning program Subah Say Agay. For Hum TV, he also anchored special programs and Eid transmissions.
Ovais has been a journalist for 14 years and was honoured with the Excellence in Journalism Award in 2016.
Shiffa Yousafzai, worked as a TV presenter and producer with Hum TV. She is an International Alumni Ambassador for Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, where she studied Multimedia Journalism.
