Karachi: Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazhar ul Haq has said that a scheme of 603 Million rupees has been granted to teach Chinese language in the provincial schools whereas the bio-Matric system is being introduced in the colleges.
The system would be introduced immediately in two colleges of each region of the province under the pilot project while in other colleges the same system would also be introduced very soon through which the attendance of college staff would be ensured.
The Minister expressed this while heading a high level meeting. In the meeting, the minister was briefed about the under-construction work of 24 new colleges in different districts of the province.
“Establish IT (Information Technology) Bureau in the Education Department”, the minister instructed the Secretary Education.
The Senior Minister Sindh was told during a detail briefing regarding the introduction of Chinese language in the Educational Institutes of Sindh that a scheme of 603 Million rupees has been granted to educate Chinese language in the provincial schools.
He was informed that 200 teachers would be educated in China and Sindh and the new language would be introduced in classes 6th to 8thin the first level while in the second level, the language would be introduced in ninth and Matric.
