KARACHI: Anti-terrorism court has handed over 32 more MQM members to Rangers for 90 days. According to sources, the Rangers brought and produce 32 MQM members into anti-terrorism court who were arrested from Nine Zero, the centre of MQM. The MQM members were blindfolded and wearing handcuffs.
According to sources, those who were produced in anti-terrorism court also include Ubaid K2 and Faisal Mota who are involved in killing the journalist, Wali Khan Babar whereas the cases of terrorism, illegal weapons and keeping explosive material are filed against the accused.
Anti-terrorism court handed over all the accused to Rangers for 90 days in accordance with PPO and afterwards, the accused were carried back wearing handcuffs. It is pertinent to mention here that Rangers on March 11 raided at the centre of MQM, Nine Zero and arrested the party leader Amir Khan and others and recovered illegal weapon.
Altaf Hussain admitted that some of the terrorists were there at Nine Zero and said that they should have gone to other places or lands if they had committed crimes in past. He gave his own example that ‘’I am myself exiled in Britain for years’’.
