The ninth edition of cricket world cup was held in West Indies from 13th March to 28th April 2007. Sixteen teams took part in this tournament. All team divided into four groups. Australia, Sri Lanka, South Africa & New Zealand qualified for semi final.
The Final was between Australia & Sri Lanka. Both teams also played final of 1996 in which Sri Lanka beat Australia. This time Australia beat Sri Lanka & became World Champion for fourth time.
