Zardari Emphasized On Law And Order Situation In Karachi

Karachi: A high-profile meeting was arranged at the Chief Minister house to take a view over the law and order situation in the city of lights. President headed the meeting and advised the Ministers to make every possible effort to control the law and order situation in the city.

No discrimination  should me made in dispensing the justice to those who are violating the laws, the President added. The President further explained that maintaining the law and order situation and providing security to every citizen was the prime priority of the government and steps should be taken in this regard.

The Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah gave a a briefing to the President about the present situation of the city. The president advised the meeting members to study the model of Witness Protection adopted by the other countries, it will help to reduce the crime rate.
