YouTube, the video sharing giant, has removed the content of ARY News from their official YouTube channel after Pakistani YouTuber Haider Ali reported the channel on content theft.
The YouTube channel of ARY News was subscribed by more than 2 million people but they lost all their video content due to report by Haider Ali.
From a long time Pakistani YouTubers and Vloggers were complaining that many media channels are using their videos without their consent. The criticized media channels for not giving them credits and using their content without any permission.
A month ago Haider Ali, Muhammad Wasif and Irfan Junejo complained how different channels such as ARY News, HUM TV, Bol and Samaa have used their videos without any prior permission. They revealed that despite multiple emails and queries they didn’t respond.
Hello, I am a YouTuber/Filmmaker from Pakistan. This is a thread of how my content gets stolen or used without permission, quite ironically to promote a positive image of Pakistan ?

Irfan Junejo also tweeted how his content are being stolen, he shared some clips in which major news channel used his content without any permission and credit. Including his Gwadar Rally, Ranikot travelogue & aerial view of Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway.
News channels are very competitive in Pakistan. If Bol does something, ARY just has to. Here is @ARYNEWSOFFICIAL stealing my footage from Gwadar Rally. pic.twitter.com/wWZ2CBhPn6

Wasif, who is also a YouTuber, said that initially their content and drone shots were stolen by Tourism Agencies which claimed they are portraying a positive image for Pakistan, but he claimed now big media corporations are doing the same.
