A nation’s youth is acknowledged to be its most prized asset. If properly cultivated it could cover-up for all other resources. Example of this fact can be observed all around the world. European countries like England have invested enormously on their human resource i.e. youth and that is covering-up for all their other needs. For a country like Pakistan to progress its youth needs unity, educations, strong character and all the measures to stop the process of brain drain.
The youth of Pakistan must unite under the common cause of progressing towards a positive Pakistan. Our nation is full of different casts and races but the youth must realize to cast away these differences and work together as one. The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) united the vast uneducated races of Arabia under Islam and as a result their country became the most powerful for centuries to come. A challenging task such as this one demands our youth to unite and the same lesson was taught by Quaid-e-Azam M.A. Jinnah in his speeches.
Education builds character and morels and that is exactly what our youth should possess in pursuit of a positive Pakistan. In this modern era it is difficult for any nation to survive without education. Thus it is essential for our youth to strive and devote themselves to their education. They should excel in every field. Pakistan is full of natural resources which are being exploited by external sources. Through proper education our youth can stop this exploitation and take these resources into uses for themselves more efficiently.
Brain Drain is becoming increasingly detrimental for Pakistan as its cream human resource gives no benefit at all to their homeland. Our youth needs to put Pakistan in the top portion of their priority list. Since their goal is to create a positive Pakistan they must stay in their country and use their talents and skills in ways which benefit themselves. Our youth should cast away selfishness from their character and stand by their country through thick and thin.
Nowadays strong character and good morals are becoming increasingly are qualities which is exactly what our youth needs to develop in order to progress. Father of our Nation M. A. Jinnah especially emphasized the youth to build strong character. Through this quality our youth can easily eliminate a variety of plagues from law and order situation and black market dealings to a cleaner Pakistan. But building strong character is no walk in the park, however it is a very important quality which our youth needs to develop.
Compared to the vast raw natural and human resource Allah has blessed Pakistan with, it is in a pitiful state. The future of Pakistanis in our youth’s hands. It is high time youth of Pakistan should start playing their roles in order to progress and make a positive Pakistan. As a great scholar rightly said
“You are young only once, and if you work it right, once is enough”.
