Yaseen Anwar Become New Acting SBP Governor

After Government of Pakistan has accepted the resignation of SBP Governor Shahid H. Kardar new acting SBP Governor is Yaseen Anwar. Federal government has issued the notifications on both the cases.

Yaseen Anwar was also the Acting Governor of SBP from 3rd June to 8th September 8 in 2010 after the resignation of the former Governor, Syed Salim Raza.

Anwar, who has been serving the State Bank as its Deputy Governor since March 29 2007, he has managed all the four clusters of the Central Bank i.e. Reserve Management, Monetary Policy, Banking and Operations; SBP subsidiaries – Banking Services Corporation (BSC) and the National Institute of Banking & Finance (NIBAF).
