International leaders declared the death of former Libyan president Muammar Gaddafi as closing chapter of the cruelty and darkness.
The Secretary General United Nations Ban ki Moon said that for a better future the people of Libya will have to pass a long way, adding that the death of Muammar Gaddafi is the historic moment for the transfer of power; meanwhile he appealed to fighter groups to lay down weapon and work for the progress of country.
US President Barack Hussain Obama said that the people are free to decide their destiny in a new and democratic country.
Addressing a press conference at Washington, he said that the killing of Muammar Gaddafi proved that dictatorship finally ends.
The British Prime Minister David Cameron said that it is time to remember those people which were killed by the cruel government of Gaddafi, adding that UK will help Libya continuously.
The leaders of European Union said that the killing of Gaddafi is the ending of dictatorship and cruel leadership in Libya.
President European Commission Zomanual Baraso told the acting government that it is the time for reconciliation and peaceful democracy.
The President of Netherlands Mark Root declared the news of killing of Gaddafi and good news; meanwhile the great supporters of Russia shows hope that now peace will be establish in Libya. The president of Russia Marti Mede Defoe said that the conciliator belong to different tribes would be succeeded in making a new government.
On the other hand China said that it is need of hour to start rehabilitation process of politics and economy as quick as possible after the death of Gaddafi.
The Spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Office Xian Eu in a statement said that china is well informed with the related news while a chapter of Libya turn out at the movement; meanwhile he stressed on the national unity and economic stability of Libya but no direct statement given over the killing Gaddafi.
It is worth mentioning here that China cannot take part in the voting of Security Council regarding the use of power against the supporters of Gaddafi to save the people of Libya and China also criticized the aerial campaign of NATO against Libya.
