If you look at the reaction from trade unions and people,then this idea is absolutely non-applicable. Why don’t they invest on the coal resources from which we can produce more electricity than our requirement. Although it looks a time consuming process but this is the permanent solution and the temporary solution is to pay the rest of money to the oil companies rather than spending billion of rupees on Benazir income support fund which is another weapon of corruption for government.they can also work on decreasing the line losses and illegal use of electricity as temporary measures.
