Sindh Institute of Skin Disease (SISD) revealed that changing color complexion has become a problematic issue for the women of Pakistan because people have no knowledge to differentiate between genuine and harmful beauty products.
Director of SISD , Dr. Iqbal Soomro said that each day at least a dozen women visit the institute because of whitening creams. He further expalined that these products are made with excess amount of chemicals and metals which show results within few days but longer use can damage the skin.
Initially your veins will be visible because it makes your skin thin, later your skin becomes sensitive to sun rays and in severe cases it may result in diabetes and kidney failure.

Dr. Mahwish Fawad said that women of all ages start using these creams to change their color complexion without knowing the affect on their skin. She said that government should ban the advertisement of these whitening creams because repeated advertisement by whitening creams attracts women to purchase these products.
