US to fund 20 million dollar remake of Sesame Street Urdu version for Pakistan. The USAID project officials think that this project will help children to educate. This step has initiated to win hearts of Pakistani people.
First time this show will shoot in Lahore city which will give natural and DESI look of Pakistani culture. Few years back this show was very famous in Pakistan but only educated children can understand that show; as the show was totally in English. But now this Urdu and Remake version of Sesame Street can equally help for all class of kids.
The name of Urdu version may be change; it can be “Khul Ja Sim Sim”. It’s not confirm that either it remain Sesame Street or change to “Khul Ja Sim SIm”.
