US Ambassador in Pakistan Cameron Munter has said that Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani had objected against some of US officials in Pakistan and US respecting the feelings of Kayani has called back these officials in US.
Talking to media persons after attended a function in private university, Munter said that the idea of Pak-Iran gas pipeline is not good, adding that the gas pipe line project form Turkmenistan would be a better idea.
He said that he had held separate meetings with DG ISI Lt Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha and Imran Khan separately but not held joint meeting with them.
He said that US want to improve civil and military relations with Pakistan and if Pakistan is secure than US would also be safe and secure, adding that US has taken the matter of Hussain Haqqani resignation and memo issue seriously and his country would be ready to render any kind of support if Pakistan would ask for it.
He said that there is no problem with Pakistan in war against terrorism, adding that Pakistan is the part of solution of terrorism.
He said that the drone attacks in Pakistan are being conducted against the enemies of the peace.
