ufone warns its customersKarachi: Ufone has severely warned its customers to remain too cautious if they receive any call or SMS telling them they have won such and such prizes. In an advertisement published on Monday, the leading cellular company told that whenever the company introduces any award scheme, few fraudulent persons cheat the users by sending fake SMS and calls using company’s name.

In order to remain safe from such scams always remember the following points,

  1. The call regarding the winning prize will only come from 333
  2. Only necessary information about your National Identity Card will be inquired during the call.
  3. The customer would never be demanded to load certain amount of balance to receive the winning prize.
  4. Call 333 after you receive such call for confirmation.
