Karachi: Two consecutive blasts take place in Muzaffarabad colony Landhi in which six people were dead which includes DSP Quaidabad Kamal Khan and a sub-inspector Akbar Hussain. 13 people were seriously injured which were transferred to Jinnah Hospital. Most of the injured people condition is very critical. Three ambulances and one Police mobile were destroyed in this blast. According to media reports, the first blast occurred at 7:45 pm whereas, the second blast happened just after the first blast.
According to Initial investigation, bombs were fitted in cement blocks, the time duration between both blasts was almost 10 minutes. Police officials said that second bomb was operated by remote.
Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the blast of Muzaffarabad colony. He also said that terrorists were spilling the blood of innocent people in the city. He expressed sympathies on the deaths.
