Peshawar: Militant group Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has make threats to attack Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the largest political party of Karachi declaring that it would deal the group in a right manner, a spokesman for the banned outfit said Friday. The statement came in view after MQM Chief’s categorical opposing statements about TTP and the killings in the city.
Pakistani Taliban spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan, in a statement issued Friday, said that they would not show any mercy to the apostate tyrants of Karachi.
It is pertinent to mention here that MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has been an outspoken opponent of peace talks with militants. His party has also taken a visible anti-Taliban stance after the attack on Malala Yousafzai.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani Taliban spokesman also urged the Pakistan’s judges and law person to struggle for an Islamic system, in his two page statement.
“I call out to all the judges who are part of Pakistan’s secular laws and courts: You will also be held accountable in front of God some day. Therefore, you should also work for an Islamic system rather than this godless system,” said Ehsan.
According to media report, Ehsanullah Esha also said that they were forming a strategy with regard to the upcoming general elections. However, it failed to specify the details of the planned strategy.
MQM Response:
While commenting on this, the senior leader of MQM Faisal Sabzwari said that the threats made against MQM were not new but they never threatened anyone.
MQM wants to see Pakistan as it founding fathers especially Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah envisioned, Faisal said.
