It is located just 35 kilometers away from Murree in Galyat in Abbottabad district. It is a hill station which is famous because of its beautiful mountains, oak, cedar & pine trees.

The beauty of the area is increased during winter because of snow fall. In clear weather of summer you can also see the snow covered Nanga Parbat. In terms of wildlife this region is home to different species of birds, insects and other animals.

Ayubia is another famous spot in Galiyat.  3,312 hectares in Ayubia was declared as National Park to preserve the wildlife in the area. Once sighting leopard was very common in the area, hill fox and flying squirrel can also be found in the area.

The four hill stations Khanspur, Gali Changla, Khairagali And Ghor Daka are a common tourist attraction in the area.

It is also commonly known as New Murree is a hill station in Murree Tehsil of Rawalpindi district. If you want to avoid the rush of main Murree and enjoy then Patriata is the place to visit. The mountains, deep forest, leopards, monkeys and chair lift makes it a favourite tourist spot.

This is a scenic view point in Murree from where you can view the mountains of Kashmir giving it the unique name ‘Kashmir Point’.

5) Pindi Point:

It is another mountain view point in Murree which is famous because of the famous view from this hill resort. Green forest, high altitude, chair lifts and beautiful view of twin cities makes it a must visit place in Murree.
