An Egyptian man named Mohammed Sadiq Bey was world’s first photographer who took this beautiful picture in 1880, around 138 years ago.
He not only took pictures of the Kaaba but also wrote 4 books on his visit to the holy cities of Makkah & Madina which was under Ottoman Caliphate during that period.
Muslims from around the world are making holy pilgrimage to Makkah and Madina which hosts the holiest mosques in Islam. The last Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) is also buried in the city of Madina which attracts millions each year.
