LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has formed a team comprising senior members of MQM in order to resolve political crisis. The Chief of MQM Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the time is going too fast, next 72 hours are very important, adding that the sitting government and the opposition should solve their issues through meaningful or purposeful talks.
Altaf Hussain has once again demanded of the government and the parties which are on protests and sits-in that they should seriously realize the critical situation of the country and solve all their issues through talks.
In a statement issued from London, Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan is facing a very critical situation, the country is facing internal and external challenges and the public purse is bearing the loss of 8 hundreds billion.
Altaf Hussain said that many demands of the Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr Tahirul Qadri were the wishes of public’s hearts and they did not conflict the constitution and the law, adding that the sitting government should immediately convene a meeting of all the colleagues of PMLN in order to accept all such legal demands.
He said that there was a short time and we had to take decisions quickly lest we should lose such opportunity of talks and mutual understanding, being given by nature, in thinking. He added that once we lost the time, we would be ruing.
Altaf Hussain further said that a team consisted of senior members of MQM had been formed which had been given task to talk with all political and religious parties so that the democratic and peaceful solution for present political crisis could be found.
