Ten people were killed and more than 25 were injured in a suicide attack near Qasr-e-Shabbir Imambargah on Misrial Road on 20th November. Police official have said that a suicide bomber tried to enter a Muharram procession near Imambargah where he was stopped by security forces but the suicide bomber detonated his explosives. Injured were taken immediately to the District Headquarters Hospitals (DHQ).
Police reached the incident place and cordoned off the areas and have started the investigation. A hand grenade was also recovered from the blast spot.Emergency have been declared at all the hospital of the city. Law enforcement agencies are on high alert. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Miniter Raja Pervez Ashraf, Chief Minsiter Punjab Shahbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the attack.
Few hours ago twin blast in Karachi killed two people and 16 others were injured. People living Karachi, Rawalpindi and other cities have demanded for full proof security. A shopkeeper living in Rawalpindi said that whatever common people demands from their respective government it is almost impossible to be fulfilled.
