ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has challenged delimitation of constituencies of federal capital in high court. According to a local newspaper, Saif-ul-Islam on behalf of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has challenged delimitation of constituencies of Islamabad in Islamabad High Court.
He made a stance while challenging the delimitation of the constituencies that the delimitation of constituencies is not legally correct for local body elections. He prayed that the 10th October’s order about delimitation of constituencies, made by the authority concerned, be revoked.
He further prayed that an order to delimit new constituencies in union councils be made. PTI leader Asad Umer talked to the media after filing a plea in Islamabad High Court. He said that Muslim League Nawaz was seeing its defeat in local body elections due to which delimitation of constituencies have been made in Islamabad which is a pre-poll rigging.
It is pertinent to mention here that since the general elections in Pakistan have held, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has continuously been criticizing the elections as well as election commission, chief justice and so on.
People commenting on social media are criticizing Imran Khan for politics of chaos and suggesting that Imran Khan should firstly work for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where he has his own government.
