London: The 42-years old Pakistani named Mohammad Suleiman Khan was making property in Pakistan from the money of British people. British court has been sentenced to 4 years in prison to Suleiman Khan on charge of tax evasion. He lived a luxury life in Mansion despite no obvious income.
A fraudsters who cheated British taxpayers out of £450,000 built a mansion as the size of Buckingham Palace in Pakistan, complete with a library and private cinema. Suleiman’s neighbors has begun to suspect his activities, and they come to know that he live in the magnificent house which looks like palace but apparently he was unemployed.
When British authorities began investigating and they learned that Suleiman Khan did most of his work on the cash. Khan claimed he was making £40,000 a year as a debt collector and from other business interests but in reality was collecting in at least £300,000, a court heard.
During investigation it was revealed that Suleiman khan had made his property of about more than 30 million in Pakistan in the shape of beautiful palace. Investigators get the photos of the palace via satellite and revealed that it is big as the Queen of castle. Suleiman Khan was accused of tax evasion over Rs seven Crore, Khan begged guilty to cheating the public revenue when he appeared last week at Liverpool Crown Court.
The joint investigation with HM Revenue and Customs also established that Khan had paid for cars in cash, including £22,000 for a black BMW. The tax fraudsters may indeed be living a very modest lifestyle by the time he completes his prison sentence.
